Rafael Mariano
Rafael Mariano is a Brazilian attorney with five years experience representing clients and practicing law in Brazil. While in Brazil, he completed three years of internship in a large commercial and tax law firm in Sao Paulo. Thereafter, he graduated from law school and received his license to practice law in Brazil, and he worked for five years as an associate at a law firm in Sao Paulo, where he practiced in the areas of labor law, commercial/business litigation and civil law, representing clients in litigation in both state courts and federal courts. He graduated with his law degree in 2000 from Catholic University of Santos, Brazil and completed his post graduation latu sensu in Labor Law from Catholic University of Santos, Brazil.
In Nevada, Mr. Mariano is a paralegal who specializes in workers compensation and personal injury cases. He took courses in Paralegal Studies at Truckee Meadows Community College. In addition, he is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
Mr. Mariano has worked with Terry Friedman, LTD, since July 2007. Prior to July 2007, Mr. Mariano did paralegal work for another law firm in Reno and worked in management doing international licensing contracts for Microsoft.
